Job Description

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability SectorsJob Title:Tutor - SIA / SecurityLocation:Wales - Must be flexible with travelSalary:£25,000Type:Full Time, PermanentEssential Criteria:

  • Must holda recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
  • Ideallyhold a recognised Teaching qualification: PTLLS/AET or above.
  • Must hold solid occupational experience within the Security industry.
  • Ideally have experience of delivering Level 3 Conflict Management and Level 3 Train the Trainer for Physical Intervention.
  • Ideally hold own Action Counter Terrorism certificates (x1 Blue and x1 Orange) and Level 3 Delivery of Conflict Management.
  • Must be IT Literate.
  • Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.
Duties include:
  • Teach/assess learnerswho are working towards a vocational qualification in SIA/Security.
  • Deliver classroom based, short, 2 week courses.
  • Ensure sessions are motivating,engaging and develop learnersskills knowledge and behaviours
  • Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
  • Provide advice and guidance to learnersrelating to decision making and progression.
  • Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners needs.

  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
  • Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
