We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced health practitioner to join the Neuroscience Directorate as Traumatic Brain Injury Practitioner. We would encourage interest from a registered health practitioner with an interest in brain injuryCurrently within the Neuroscience Directorate at Cardiff and the Vale University Health Board a comprehensive and patient centred service is provided to patients who have suffered a traumatic brain injury, and we are seeking to appoint an additional Practitioner to this service in providing specialist care to patients who have an acquired brain injury and have required admission to either the Neurosurgery Unit or to the Major Trauma Centre.A key part of this role will be the support and educate members of the clinical team in caring for this complex group of patients, as well as specialist support to patients and their families at what is recognised as being a very difficult time.
