Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Planner to join our clients busy team based in Cardiff and lead on the delivery of a wide range of transport assessments for various clients across the UK, using a detailed knowledge and experienceof standard modelling packages and recognised transport appraisal techniques.About usOur clients provide transport planning advice to clients across private and public sector clients including residential, retail and logistics projects.Our clients one team culture is at the heart of their business; providing a collaborative and supportive environment for professional development. Alongside 25 days annual leave, our clients offer agile working which allowsstaff to tailor hours worked around core hours, and our family friendly policies help balance the needs of professional and family life.The roleDuties will be varied but responsibilities will include: Manage client relationships to ensure the securing of work Manage work projects in line with client expectations and company priorities Continue to update personal knowledge or relevant technical, legal and policy changes Use personal judgement and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions Maintain continuous professional development Provide guidance on quality matters and technical issuesAbout youIf you are interested in applying, we would envisage that you could demonstrate: Relevant degree (or higher) level qualification and membership or working towards membership of a relevant professional body (MIHT or similar) Demonstrable transport planning experience at a comparable in a consultancy or similar environment Evidence of using standard transport planning databases such as TRICS Proven project delivery capabilities Strong software modelling capabilities on relevant software packages such as ARCADY/PICADY/LINSIG
