Transport CoordinatorCardiff (CF3)Monday to Friday, 8am to 5.30pm, with alternating Saturdays£30,000 to £33,000 per annum dependant on experienceAcorn Recruitment is working with a leading waste management company seeking a Transport Coordinator to assist their operations due to a recent expansion. The role would be from the site based in Cardiff.Job Duties:* Site liaison representative pushing recycled aggregate and muck away services to our customers in and around our catchment area and offering the complete service of Neal Soils Ltd all from our newly built weighbridge/sales office* Arranging waste collections/disposal from our customers and co-ordinating this with our planning team and uploading those orders onto our management system* Obtaining & checking weighbridge tickets from all our fleet and sub-contractors * Updating details onto the system* Preparing all documentation, and consignment notes for waste collectionsSkills & Experience:* Strong administrative experience * Customer service experience * Excellent written and spoken communication skills with demonstrable customer* The ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders, primarily by telephone* Previous experience in transport / logistics department would be ideal but not essentialTo be considered for this post, please apply with you up to date CV.Acorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
