Job Description

Robert Half Talent Solutions are seeking a Graduate Trainee Treasury Accountant for a growing organisation based in Cardiff.The Graduate Trainee Treasury Accountant will be part of a team responsible for the cash, banking and forecasting for this successful client.Based in Cardiff, Hybrid workingReporting into Treasury Manager, with dotted line to UK Finance Director.Your responsibilities:

  • Administration of bank accounts, bank account users, and netting participants,
  • Daily cash management,
  • Prepare monthly cash forecast (review and consolidate worldwide submissions),
  • Collaborate with other corporate functions (tax, legal, accounting),
  • Collect and consolidate treasury data from affiliates,
  • Maintain Treasury records up to date (e-banking users, databases, etc..),
  • Liaise with banks to resolve issues in a timely manner,
  • Liaise with auditors and provide supporting documents as needed,
  • Act as electronic banking master user and administrator,
  • Prepare periodic reports (month-end, quarter-end, year-end),
  • Complete bank account documentation (KYC, account opening, bank mandates),
  • Support Treasury Manager EMEA,
  • Perform ad-hoc treasury analysis,
  • Support ad hoc treasury projects.
We need a relevent Accounting, numerical or analysis based degree and at least a years experince in a finance function or internship.Salary to £43,000 plus generous package, hybrid working and an early Friday finish.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
