Job Description

The Company:

  • Global manufacturer of switchgear, transformers protection relays, substations, control and automation
  • Offering bespoke AC and DC switchgear solutions and power system control.
  • Servicing the Utility, EPC and Oil and Gas sector.
  • After market services
  • National coverage
    • The Role:
  • Reviewing of technical and commercial tenders for electrical manufacturing projects
  • Provide technical support and review technical specifications for switchgear products.
  • Provide internal teams with cost estimations and commercial conditions.
  • Liasing with external and internal customers
  • Offering support across other business functions as required
  • Ability to work from home a number of days a week.
  • £35k-£45k, Pension, bonus, holidays
  • Covers: Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, Bristol, Gloucester, Hereford, Swindon, Worcester
    • The Ideal Person:
  • LV and MV 11kv/33kv switchgear product experience
  • Electrical estimating or tendering experience
  • Beng or equivalent in electrical engineering
  • Understand electrical distribution, LV, MV, HV switchgear
  • General power distribution background
