Job Description

The Role: Technical Lead/Senior Software EngineerLocation: Cardiff (Remote or Office Based)Salary: circa £45K plus options scheme, bonuses and flexible benefitsThe Opportunity

  • We are proud to be partnering with Configur a truly innovative High-Tech Consultancy and Development company who are pushing the boundaries of Business Transformation, AI and Machine Learning.
  • Due to continued growth they are looking for a Technical Lead/Senior Software Engineer to lead the engineering team and deliver Customer Projects and Core Product Development.
  • As well as delivering live projects, as part of the Management team you will be integral in spearheading, shape, form and progressing the capability in this area by playing a pivotal role in the development of the Artificial Intelligence based product suite.
    • The Role:
  • As the Lead Engineer you will be responsible for initiation, development & delivery of Projects in an agile fashion to the business.
  • Lead a growing engineering team and deliver Customer Projects and Core Product Development.
  • Provide insights & improvement to business processes and support the creation of innovative business models.
  • Be heavily involved in the strategic planning and technical input that will help steer the development of solutions and products.
    • The Person:
  • 4-5 years experience of engineering projects
  • 2-3 years experience of machine learning and Ai experience
  • 1-2 years experience of Team management/project lead experience
  • Excellent team player
    • Skills:
  • Languages: Node JS/Python/React/Lambda
  • Database: MongoDB/SQL
  • Devops: AWS Architecture
  • Version Control: GitLab or similar
  • Testing: Jest or similar
  • Planning & Roadmapping
  • Agile working
    • Required skills
