About the company…An award winning MSP, they offer multiple services based around networking, business continuity, data centre, cloud and cyber security solutions. With a recent investment into the company they are growing and looking for a Technical Account Manager to join them and cover the South Wales / South West region. Theyve got a clear plan to grow the business further over the next few years and are looking for the right person to join them on the next stage of their journey. They work with some of the leading technical vendors in the industry (Cisco, Fortinet, AWS, Azure, Gemalto, Nutanix etc) and are looking for a Technical Account Manager who can not only service existing business but grow their portfolio of accounts further with a strong technical understanding and a consultative approach. About you…You will have a strong technical understanding and a good level of experience within sales / account management positions, servicing the IT industry. You may already be in a technical sales role, or be more pre-sales focussed but youre able to achieve monthly revenue targets, build new accounts for the business going forward and be the first point of contact for customers. You will be able to spot new business opportunities for the organisation, hold technical conversations with stakeholders that you are selling to and have a proactive attitude to keep growing the customer base in South Wales and the South West. What were ideally looking for…* A strong background within IT sales, pre-sales or account management* Experience selling solutions based around Cisco, Fortinet, AWS, Azure, Gemalto, Nutanix etc (however if youve got experience with other vendors but still been selling cloud, networking, business continuity, cyber security, SaaS, IaaS solutions etc thatll be fine with us!) * The ability to spot new opportunities for business growth (either within current customers or new). * A good strong work ethic with the ability to work autonomously, to manage multiple projects, work on simultaneous new business opportunities and make sure that all bases are covered across your aspects of work.
