Job Description

A leading Big 4 Tax Valuations team in the UK is currently in the market for Assistant Managers and Managers to join their national team in Cardiff.Helping businesses and individuals understand the value that tax authorities are likely to place on business assets and negotiate values for those assets with tax authorities. This team are experts in the field.Working with all types of business, including many household names and many of the worlds leading private equity providers. This is a fast paced transaction driven environment.Your role

  • Liaising with clients, undertaking valuation modelling and drafting comprehensive valuation reports to a high standard with a focus on quality.
  • Peer reviewing valuation reports prepared by other team members.
  • Assisting the team of Associate Directors and Directors with more complex valuation projects and making significant contribution thereto.
  • Raising awareness of the offerings of the Tax Valuations team within the firm and beyond.
  • Tasks and responsibilities will grow over time and there will be the opportunity for career development for strong performers.
Your professional experienceA successful applicant will possess many of the following key skills and attributes:
  • Established valuation professional, with experience in valuing both management incentives and intangible assets.
  • Ability to interpret data in order to support judgements.
  • Clear, concise and persuasive communication style.
  • High level of Excel proficiency.
  • Strong administration, organisational and client management skills.
  • Ability to adapt and work flexibly to changes in responsibilities, workload and priorities to meet demand and manage the expectations of various stakeholders.
