Hoop Human Resources are currently working with a fantastic, values based organisation whose headquarters are located in South Wales on the outskirts of Cardiff. They are currently seeking a Talent Development Manager, a newly created opportunity, for someone to lead the talent strategy working closely with Learning and Development and Strategic HR.This role is not to be confused with operational recruitment, although having a background or understanding in recruitment would be strongly beneficial. The key priorities within this role will be;* Focusing on building an employer brand, establishing key benefits and drivers in working for this organisation and putting a strategy together on how to promote these* Engaging with the graduate scheme and how to attract graduates to the organisation, focusing on why graduates may chose this organisation over others* You will need to have excellent written communication skills and be able to devise appealing job adverts articulating why this organisation is one to join* Succession planning, thinking about local populations and geographies where talent pools for specific roles may be located* Reviewing current selection techniques including assessment centres and psychometrics and making improvements and suggestions to allow consistency across the organisation* Create tools and techniques to engage with recruitment in a different way. Focusing on values looking at ways to align recruitment strategy with the values, and ways to attract candidates with aligned behaviours* This is a hugely exciting opportunity to be part of an extremely talented team. You will have the opportunity to shape and design, working closely with key stakeholders.You must have proven experience in Talent development, hold a relevant qualification (CIPD or equiv) and have experience with psychometric testing and selection techniques.
