Our ambition is to inspire clients, their relatives and professionals alike by consistently attaining excellent outcomes; supporting people with compassion and kindness.We’re now looking for an additional female Support Worker to provide a high level of care to our client, a 28 year old woman with cerebral palsy. The Rewards - Salary of £11 per hour during weekdays, £12 per hour at the weekends- National Living Wage rates paid for sleep shifts - Make a genuine difference to someone’s life- Play a key role at a very exciting time for the service user- Statutory holiday and benefits The Role As a Support Worker, you’ll support our client, a 28 year old woman with cerebral palsy in her own home in the Cardiff area.On a day-to-day basis, you will be involved in all aspects of personal and domestic care. You will support our client in therapeutic activities, as well as in her active lifestyle and daily activities.It’s an exciting time to be joining the team as our client is getting married in March 2021, is about to move into a newly adapted property and is planning to get a dog in the coming months.About You To be considered as a Support Worker, you will need: - Previous care experience- A full, valid driving licence- Registration with OR working towards registration with Social Care Wales- A recognised Health and Social Care qualification (NVQ Level 2 or a Diploma) OR have completed the All Wales Induction Framework, or be willing to complete this within 6 months of starting if successful.- To be tolerant of animals (as our client is planning on getting a dog)Due to the nature of care required, only female applicants will be progressed for this role.
