Job Description

Support Officers | Cardiff| Full Time| £10.50 per hourEstablished in 1997, Elite Security Group remains privately owned; and with offices across a number of regions, we are well-appointed to ensure dedicated coverage is in place to support our growing portfolio of clients.Due to continued expansion we have a number of vacancies for support officers to help cover our operations across the South Wales and South West Regions.Elite Security are seeking professional, smart and trustworthy personnel who have the ability to work alone or as part of a bigger Team as requested. Successful candidates would be flexible in their approach to the role and as such show a willingness towork days , nights and some weekends as requested.What can you expect in return

Are you the right person for the job
  • The successful applicant would ideally possess experience working within the sector although this is not essential.
  • A valid SIA licence and the ability to travel within the region is however a must, and due to a variety of early start times own transport would almost certainly be a necessity to ensure a prompt arrival to site for a productive handover.
  • Candidates must have Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Basic computer skills including the ability to send and receive Emails are also favourable.
What will your role as a Support Officer look like
  • Meet and greet employees and visitors to site.
  • Conduct external and internal security patrols.
  • Maintain logbooks and records, ensuring all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and conduct effective handover procedures.
  • Record and report all faults, health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices to management.
  • Locking and Unlocking sites.
  • Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring the safeguarding of the premises.
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Report instances of property at risk of being lost, stolen, damaged and/or vandalised.
  • General gate house duties.
  • Carrying out Fire Alarm and other security equipment tests.
  • Display an outstanding level of customer service.
  • Display the highest standard of personal presentation to maintain the image of Elite Security and the customer.
