Job Description

I am excited to be partnering with this world leading organisation who have been serving the world of diagnostics for over 50 years.Due to an internal promotion they have an opportunity for an entry level Supply Chain Coordinator to join their busy team of 7.The role of the Supply Chain Coordinator is to perform activities within the companys supply and demand value stream, to enable the business to realise its commitments to both customers and suppliers. It involves supplier management, procurement and buyingof goods and services, goods inwards receipt, through production planning and inventory management, to finished goods shipping to customers.

  • Co-ordinate the efficient transportation and distribution of finished goods to our global customer base
  • Maintain knowledge base of export and import documentation requirements for European and ROW
  • Ensure export shipments include all relevant documentation for the country of destination such as DEFRA and Chamber of Commerce
  • Progress shipments through SAGE ERP system and any other logistics systems as required
  • Raise and process purchase requisitions for consumables and raw materials
  • Collaborate with other members of the team, to routinely review raw materials on site, including past usage history and planned future usage
  • Control the approval of raw materials released from storage to Production, for processing, including issuing any released materials to production WOs
  • Resolve any issues with supplier deliveries, including replacement / refund for damaged goods and incorrect goods delivered
Skills/Background Required:
  • ERP Knowledge - SAGE is the system in use
  • Inventory Management
  • Strong communication skills
