We will feed back to decision-makersto help shape and influence future services.Are you passionate about improving health and social care services in WalesA fantastic opportunity has become available at Llais for a Strategic Director of Operations and Corporate Services, Band 8d, 37.5 hours per week.This is hybrid role, with both remote and office-based working.The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable.Main Duties of the jobThe Strategic Director of Operations and Corporate Services plays a key part in delivering Llais’ important role in giving a voice for people living in Wales in the design and delivery of their health and social care services.This is a significant leadership role, working alongside the Strategic Director of Strategy and Engagement in supporting the Chief Executive Officer in the day- to-day leadership, strategic development, management and delivery of the organisation’s strategicvision and plans.Lead on national business which is critical to the organisation through the design, development and delivery of a number of complex corporate services functions and regional operations delivered by expert and multi skilled teams.The role requires an experienced, senior, highly qualified, and competent professional with broad experience and a highly developed skill set in leading and overseeing the day-to-day delivery of the organisation’s functions at a local and regional level,and the design and delivery of its corporate services functions. Key responsibilities include:

• enabling the Board to meet its responsibilities for setting and ensuring delivery of the organisation’s strategic vision and direction and the development of a positive organisational culture
• senior leadership and oversight of the delivery of the Board’s vision and priorities locally, regionally and nationally, operating a robust performance management framework to ensure delivery
• the design, development and operation of the organisation’s governance and assurance framework, including its values and standards of behaviour framework and risk management strategy
• the design, development and delivery of a comprehensive people, well- being and organisational development function incorporating staff and volunteer resources
• the design, development and delivery of a robust budget management and financial services and procurement function
• the design, development, and delivery of the organisation’s digital, data and information technology infrastructure
• the design, development and delivery of the organisation’s location and estates strategy
• working flexibly as part of the senior management team
• ensuring the principles of equality, diversity, inclusion and sustainability are embedded throughout the
