A leading worldwide Footwear company are looking to recruit a Full time Store Manager for their Cardiff City Centre Store.Role involves achieving the sales plan through consistent operational excellence, discipline, and a committed team who perform flawlessly. Supports District Manager by communicating company directives to their assigned store utilising the company strategy.The role of a Store Manager is to fulfil and execute the company mission statement on a daily basis and demonstrate a passion for our product, people and our customers.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESSALESResponsible for and expected to meet or exceed assigned sales plans and target KPIs within assigned store.Maintains a commitment to the companys sales processes, values and business code of ethics.Drives sales and monitors each MOD (Manager-on-Duty) segment and ensures patterns of poor performance are addressed.Monitors employee/customer interactions and provides constructive feedback on ways employees can improve service and increase sales. Ensures employees consistently meet the Company customer service expectations.Responsible for driving customer traffic by participating in approved local events and/or marketing opportunities.PRODUCTEnsures consistent execution of companys marketing and visual presentation.Proactively identifies various market opportunities and makes recommendations to District Manager for localised product, visual and marketing strategies.Ensures store visual standards are met at all times by ensuring the appropriate mix and depth in key SKUs, by identifying store needs using and analysing sales reports and making recommendations to District Manager.Ability to create excitement and show passion for the product by communicating Company relevant product knowledge to customers and employees.PEOPLEDemonstrates the ability to develop a culture of recognition, accountability, discipline and urgency.Trains staff on how to drive sales to maximum potential through continued development on product knowledge, customer service standards and visual presentation.Partners with Human Resources to hire, develop and retain top talent, as well as address employee relations issues.Ability to build and maintain an effective succession plan for store.Ensures adequate staffing at all times by appropriately scheduling staff based on business trends and making any necessary seasonal adjustments, within payroll budget. Maintains appropriate headcount for volume of store.Sets specific performance standards and ensures store team contribute to the company objectives.Mentors and develops key performers to be ready for career progression.Supervises employees by enforcing policies/procedures and reporting incidents to the District Manager and Human Resources regarding any breaches of company policies/procedures.Ensures all Human Resources paperwork and training are retained as per Company guidelines.Ensures effective communication of all company objectives and sales goals to store team.Accountable for maintaining and enforcing Company dress code guidelines to ensure H&S policies and brand image are maintained.Demonstrates the key behaviours as set out in the company Core Competencies.Ability to complete necessary paperwork timely and accurately.OPERATIONSDemonstrates the ability to follows The Promise and ensure all company customer service standards are consistently executed.Maintains appropriate inventory controls and bulk counts.Manages and adheres to all Company cash handling procedures.Ability to complete store audits to ensure compliance.Ensures standard and pricing of product is according to Company guidelines.Ensures stock management processes are adhered to as per Company guidelines.Ensures store is well maintained as per brand standard guidelines.Keeps daily record of all operational paperwork as necessary.Effectively implement the area of responsibility (AOR) program to improve ownership, development, execution and accountability of the management team.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESOther duties as necessary to maintain store daily operations.May be assigned to other locations based on business needs.What Youll Get:
