Job Description

A great role with an ever growing FMCG businessClient DetailsMy client is a successful food business with an array of products within major retailers and has experienced 40% yoy growth over the past few years.DescriptionThe successful stock controller will be responsible for

  • Organising and leading monthly stock take,
  • Running daily cycle counts and develop reporting of information to ensure consistency, accuracy and establish a uniformed approach across each site,
  • Ensuring consistent stock accuracy objectives are met and maintained, driving best practise and challenging the status quo,
  • Monitoring the daily material stock levels and ensure materials are called off in a timely manner to meet the production schedule,
  • Controlling intersite material deliveries - maintaining accurate records, tracking, troubleshoot variances, and close out corrective actions,
  • Daily delivery note validation and troubleshooting,
  • Tracking, reporting and improving material variance throughout the factory,
  • Ensuring systems are accurate, up to date and maintained,
  • Developing existing tools to improve data capture, movement/ tracking, accuracy and reporting,
    • ProfileThe successful candidate will have
  • Previous experience within a similar role (ideally FMCG)
  • Experienced competing cycle counts and be analytical to seek stock variances
  • Strong competence in using IT Systems including Microsoft Office software
  • Experienced with root cause analysis
  • Experience with multi site working
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A proactive approach to work and able to work on own initiative
