Job Description

Sourcing Specialist Rate: £20 an hour PAYEDuration: Until 25th November Location: Cardiff - Hybrid working Help us improve access to life-changing therapies that can transform human healthWe are Cytiva, a global provider of technologies and services that advance and accelerate the development and manufacture of therapeutics.Our customers undertake life-saving activities. These range from fundamental biological research to developing innovative vaccines, biologic drugs, and novel cell and gene therapies.Our job is to supply the tools and services - the pots, pans, soups and sauces - they need to work better, faster and safer, leading to better patient outcomes. What youll do

  • Responsible for execution of Sourcing and Supply Chain related project activities supporting assigned product transfer projects
  • Coordinate and track sourcing project activities
  • Gather supplier RFQs and needed supplier information to support Sourcing strategies and SC analysis
  • Support supplier qualifications
  • Communicate with suppliers to enable a smooth transition or onboarding and to secure supply to production as per project timelines
  • Complete Supplier set up and Purchasing agreements in ERP system
  • Provide input to project and supplier risk assessments and execute risk mitigating activities as needed
  • Collaborate with project and functional stakeholders in defining tasks within the given project scope
  • Consolidate and present project status reports and track execution as per project timelines.
Who you are
  • Bachelors Degree or masters degree in Supply Chain Management or Commercial Sourcing or equivalent degree
  • At a minimum 3 years work experience with Commercial Sourcing, Supply Chain or Engineering
  • Well organized and understand the importance of timely execution of given tasks
  • Prior experience in communicating professionally with external suppliers globally
  • Strong team player and experience from working with global teams - collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization
  • Experience working in projects with the supply chain and manufacturing functions
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams
  • Strong analytical and strong problem-solving skills - communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve
  • Fluent in English and preferably French, writing and speaking
  • DBS experience a plus
  • Smartsheet, QlikSense / QlikView, MS Project knowledge a plus
