Job Description

    • What better way to stay connected to music than to work with one of the most iconic businesses in the industryIf you havent heard of them, youve probably heard music made by their products.They now have over 50 years experience in the industry and in that time, theyve built up a pretty prolific list of artists who have used them religiously.With new projects coming out their ears ranging from mobile apps to cloud-based software its no wonder theyre looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their tech team.This is a role where youll be hands-on as well as being open to supporting more junior members of the team and happy to take on those mentoring responsibilities such as code reviews and pair programming.They have a very capable team of developers, although they are looking to scale up so this is an exciting opportunity for a senior who can grow with the company and the team.The kind of person theyre looking for would be someone who isnt afraid to try new things, who isnt afraid to speak their mind, and is passionate about all things tech - inside and outside of the office.This team mainly focuses on web applications and pretty much is completely back-end focussed. They are currently using, Symfony and Slim and some without frameworks. They also use Node and JQuery for some front-end development.Tech snapshot:
  • PHP - Open to framework with a strong preference for Symfony or Laravel
  • HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, Nod
  • MySQL
    • Company culture wise theyre a large global business but have a start-up feel in their offices in Swansea.
