Site Service Maintenance TechnicianWe are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Site Service Maintenance Technician, to join their facilities team in Cardiff. The client is a worldwide leader in the development, manufacturing and marketing of electronic products for a wide range of consumer, business and industrial needs.Purpose of the RoleThe role involves supporting team members to carry out daily internal and external inspections and repairs across the site. Ensuring all aspects of facility engineering, legal compliance, health and safety and maintenance requirements are met.Principle Accountabilities· Carry out corrective maintenance or repair on the equipment and building internal or external.· Detects together with the team to create opportunities for improvements, and monitors the development of these projects.· Carry out site compliance inspectionsKnowledge, Skills and Experience Required· Ability to undertake general repairs & maintenance of the building infrastructure.· High safety standards - demonstrable by examples - i.e. knowledge of risk & method statements, safe systems of work etc.· Experience of isolation proceduresQualifications· Electrically/Mechanically qualified - with experience in an office/ building or manufacturing environment· Qualified to Engineering ONC level or equivalent· Time served (apprenticeship) or robust evidence of training with > 3 years further working experienceAdditional Specifications· Forklift truck and IPAF (MEWP) licenses would be advantageous.· Self-starting & motivated - impeccable time & attendance and a can do attitude.· Excellent problem-solving skills· PC skills - must be proficient with utilising basic packages, to include e-mail.· High degree of flexibility relating to working hours.Keywords; Maintenance, repair, electrical, mechanical, engineering.
