Acorn Recruitment is recruiting a Site Fixer on behalf of their prestigious construction contractor based in Cardiff. With a first class client base and order book, this opportunity could be the perfect next step in your career. Key Duties:* To assist our Site Supervisor in the daily works being carried out on site in the installation of architectural metalwork including balustrades, stairs, wall rails, balconies & secondary steelwork etc* To ensure that area of work is maintained safe and orderly Essential Criteria:* Significant experience of working in the Construction/Architectural industry * Full clean driving license * Holder of a trade CSCS Card * IPAF trained (Or proof of operator experience) * PASMA trained (Or proof of operator experience) * Ability to work as an effective team member, being self-motivated and able to carry out instructions* Ability to work unsupervised after guidance Desirable Criteria:* Capability to stainless steel TIG weld* Ability to polish back stainless steel after weldingHours of work 41 hours a weekMonday-Thursday 7.30am-5pm & Friday 7.30-12.30pmHourly Rate £13.50 per hour£28,782 per annumHoliday entitlement - 25 annual leave days per annum plus 8 bank holidays.Acorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
