Senior Support & Business AnalystCardiff - Up to £31,365A reputable organisation based in Cardiff are seeking a talented and proven Senior Support & Business Analyst .As a Senior Support & Business Analyst, your approach shall be flexible and innovative. You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills to ensure that the application performs to the requirements of its users.Job Summary:To design and support the business applications and services for which the division is responsible.To ensure that the application performs to the requirements of its users and clinicians.To provide specialist advice, support and training to the business in various areas of health informatics.To provide specialist information analysis.All support work is undertaken in accordance with National policies, processes and procedures described by the IT Service Management Boards as part of its adoption of ITIL best practice.Develop and maintain relationships with the business Software Applications customers or users and provide them with advice, support and training.Ensure all problems/faults and user support issues are resolved to the satisfaction of the customer and the Division management.To respond to user queries in a timely and accurate manner.To resolve problems from first principle and past experience.Liaise as necessary with staff at all levels to resolve faults across organisations or external companies.Present, demonstrate and answer questions on Software Application innovations to larger groups including national user group meetings.The post holder must have an IT related degree (or equivalent) or experience in a technical support, service management or business analysis role.The post holder should hold (or demonstrate equivalent knowledge to commensurate with):* The ITIL V3 practitioner certificate in IT service management.* The ISEB Certificate in Business Analysis Essentials.* The PRINCE 2 foundation in project management.The post holder shall:-* Acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge of the National Applications to which they are assigned and the business and clinical processes that support them.* Demonstrate and maintain knowledge and expertise in ITIL service Delivery and Service Support.* Demonstrate and maintain excellent knowledge of database reporting software.* Demonstrate and maintain excellent knowledge of SQL and its application to databases.* Demonstrate and maintain knowledge and expertise in PRINCE2 project management and support development programmes.Within a fast-paced, technology-focused environment this role is sure to be a quick turnaround - so dont miss out!The client are offering a competitive salary of up to £31,365 and offer great benefits such as a fantastic pension and more!If you are looking to be part of a friendly, energetic company in Cardiff then please click the apply now function or alternatively please contact Paolo.Certes Computing (and all of its subsidiary companies) is committed to promoting equality and diversity in its business operations.
