Backing people to fulfil lifes hopes and dreams; delivering the most compelling customer experience across Banking and Motor Finance.Now is your chanceThis Senior Project Manager role is to successfully ensure smooth set up, running and delivery of projects within the IT Transformation and Change. On a day-to-day basis the Senior Project Manager will utilise best practices and procedures, alongside their technical and business decision making skills, to ensure that the project risks & issues are managed effectively and to deliver the agreed businessoutcomes within time, quality and budget constraints.The role of Senior Project Manager is really important to us. You will be required to successfully lead a small team of Project Managers to ensure smooth set up, running and delivery of IT Transformation Projects across the Group, using best practices andprocedures to deadlines and within budget. When the time is right, we would love to welcome you to our Cardiff office. In the meantime, you will be based remotely. Youll be made to feel part of your new team by your Line Manager and colleagues through regular contact and virtual interaction.What would your day look like* Project Management Activities - Drive change throughout the organisation by providing high quality, consistent delivery of multiple initiatives/projects across multiple business lines. The project manager will need to deliver to project charters/goalsand communicate progress towards milestones to key stakeholders to adopt the change. The project manager will also need to provide proactive business project leadership which will require strong facilitation skills and the ability to work through complex issues(where detailed and in-depth analysis is required) to determine the right course of action.* Consulting Activities- Act as an advisor to the senior leaders within the business by providing strategic direction based on thorough analyses of the problems/opportunities/challenges that impact their areas change portfolio. Develop realistic, workablesolutions that support the customers needs and implement them successfully.
