Job Description

Senior PHP Developer (Laravel), £55k to £60k, Fully Remote Avanti Recruitment is currently working with a healthcare agency with offices in Marlow and London but this role can be 100% remote if you are based in the UK.You will love this role if you:

  • Are passionate about architecting, building and maintaining web applications
  • Value collaboration and enjoy working closely with developers, project managers, QA professionals and digital designers
  • Want to work on a variety of different projects and get the chance to try out new technologies
  • Have an interest in modern PHP frameworks and how you could use their features in a project
You will be a success if you:
  • Have strong experience of web development with PHP and a good understanding of Laravel or another main PHP framework, such as Symfony
  • Have knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
  • Can work with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial
  • It would also be beneficial to have a good understanding of CMSs, such as WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS
As part of the digital team, youll be responsible for the following activities:
  • Development of new web applications, features and functionality using Laravel
  • Establishing and guiding the solutions architecture
  • Contribute quality code for projects, including via peer review of others
  • Ensure that your projects are delivered to the requirements and on the agreed timeline
