Cardiff - Hybrid Office and Remote working split.£45,000 - £50,000+ CCNA / CCNP Network EngineerIntaPeople are working in partnership with a global business intelligence company, who have created a brand-new role within their Network Administration team.Ideally you will have 3-5 years networking engineering experience, coupled with certifications in either Cisco CCNA/CCNP or CCDA. Experience of working in a Data Centre environment is seen as highly desirable along with a willingness to travel a little asrequired.Youll mainly be responsible for: Design, configure & implement:o Core Network serviceso Automated infrastructure configuration & deploymento Availability monitoring / reporting toolso Capacity management & availabilityo Managing faults with ISPs/third parties Defining core network infrastructure technical architecture Scale and optimize network infrastructure systems continuously to support business growth Maintain complete technical solution documentationIdeal IT Skills would be: 3-5 years commercial experience of enterprise grade networking hardware installation and support (inc. switches, firewalls, routers, Wi-Fi access points) In depth Knowledge of LAN/WLAN/WAN support for voice, data and video networks Deep understanding of TCP/IP, layer 2 and layer 3 routing, IPsec/SSL VPNs Working knowledge of MPLS and hybrid cloud network connectivity IPSEC/Direct Connect Network performance evaluation, monitoring and optimization experience Desirable skills include: CCNA or CCNP qualified In depth practical experience of AWS / MS Azure environments, specifically networking Practical knowledge of SolarWinds Network Automation and Python scripting Configuration management & Infrastructure as Code Linux (CentOS / Ubuntu) HAPEE Load Balancer configuration and managementIf this sounds like you please apply now for further details, thanks!
