A Purchase to Pay (P2P) Senior Manager is required to own and improve our P2P processingcycles; this is an exciting opportunity to shape the way we ensure our services meet the business needs and our people enjoy a consumer grade user experience. The role will have a dotted reporting line to our CBS Service Management & Continuous ServiceImprovement team, who monitor and improve the services provided to the business.This is an Enabling Functions-wide role, across multiple internally facing service areas in the UK and overseas. • Reports to the Head of Vendor Management
• Operational owner of the Deloitte Source to Pay policy
• Monitor and drive compliance to the policy via the Compliance dashboard. Maintain and improve the dashboard.
• Work with the Head of Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) to optimise and control the delivery of the P2P processes by multiple teams in the UK and overseas
• Engage across our Enabling Functions (principally Finance), CBS service areas and offshore delivery centres, building strong relationships and proactively steering and optimising the delivery of P2P as end to end processes
• Drive the adoption of standardisation and consistency in practice, measurement and reporting in the end-to-end P2P processes
• Align standards and procedures of processes within P2P with UK Finance for alignment to Record to Report
• Document, develop or redesign finance governance processes and controls for P2P working with UK Finance and business finance
• Ensure process documentation, including standard operating procedures and training materials, are accurately maintained and readily available to the business (Enabling Functions and Service Lines)
• Work with the EFs and project delivery teams on the delivery of initiatives and projects to improve P2P cycles
• Responsible for ensuring that outcomes from any projects or CSI initiatives are delivered in line with strategic objectives, stakeholder expectations and business outcomes (in the areas of cost, productivity, customer experience or risk/compliance)
• Managing diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution

• Proven experience working in P2P process management or ownership, preferably within a shared service environment or large complex/matrixed organisation across multi-functional teams
• Proven procurement and category management experience
• Experience of managing through major change in a dynamic and fast-moving change environment
• Experience of relevant case management, finance systems, automation and other relevant technologies for delivering world class P2P cycles, in particular Ariba
• Experience of working with dealing with overseas delivery centres.
• Experience of working in shared service or business services
• Experience of working in a Partnership or Professional services environment desirable
