Senior Hydrogeologist - CardiffMy client, an international multidisciplinary Consultancy who specalise in innovative engineering solutions are searching for a Senior Hydrogeologist to join an experienced team and manage high-profile projects in the water resources management, environmentaland infrastructure sector for Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients across the UK and internationally.Applicants are required to have a BSc or MSc in Hydrogeology and have experience working for an Environmental Consultancy completing Hydrogeological Risk Assessments, Ground Water Monitoring and experience working on Geothermal or De-watering Projects.Experienceusing Modflow is also required for this role.You will be required to:Lead delivery of projects covering all aspects of water resources such as borehole design, pumping test analysis and groundwater flow modelling.Excellent technical understanding of hydrogeology.Conceptualise and quantitatively describe subsurface systems and processes and report on these clearly and concisely.Good understanding of the minerals and/or mining sector which could include impact assessment, flood risk assessment, abstraction licensing and discharge permitting, environmental data collection, management etc.Complete Water Quality AssessmentsMentoring team members, providing support when needed.Preparing bids and contract documents.Ensure projects are delivered to time and budget and comply with company standards and environmental legislations.Liaise with stakeholder and clients, attending meetings when needed.Manage projects.Complete Hydrogeological Risk Assessments, Water Resource and Impact Assessments, Surface Water Management plans, Groundwater Modelling using Modlfow and monitoring.This role comes with a competitive salary, specialist training and support.
