Quantum Advisory have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Officer (Maternity cover) to join their team.Location: Cardiff Office but currently working from homeSalary: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum dependent on experienceSenior HR Officer (Maternity cover) – The Role:We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Officer to join our small HR team to cover a period of maternity leave for 12 months. Ideally the successful candidate will commence in June to allow a sufficient handover period prior to the maternity leave starting.The role is based in our Cardiff office but will initially be working from home. The successful candidate may be required to travel to our other office locations in Amersham, Birmingham and London, COVID permitting, on an ad hoc, infrequent basis.Quantum offers a friendly place to work with flexible working hours. The role can be offered on a full time or 0.8 FTE basis.Senior HR Officer – Key Responsibilities:This is a true generalist role, and you will be undertaking the day-to-day operation of the HR function. The successful candidate must be willing and able to complete the full spectrum of HR duties including general administrative tasks, recruitment, induction, payroll, performance management, training, health and wellbeing activities, dealing with employee relations issues and any other general tasks.The successful candidate will have experience of dealing with employee relations issues and other general HR issues, so they are able to make informed decisions. You will also have experience of working on HR Database systems. A working knowledge of CIPHR would be desirable but not essential.Working closely with senior management and reporting to the HR Partner, this role will give the successful candidate an opportunity to work collaboratively using initiative and experience with support from other members of the small HR team. You will be working closely with managers and employees to achieve the best outcomes.
