Senior Cloud Engineer - Cardiff - Initial 6 month contract (£350-380 per day INSIDE IR35 - PAYE)I am currently partnering with a client who are recruiting for a Senior Cloud Engineer on an initial 3 month contract. Responsibilities will include:*You will deliver application stacks via DevOps practices and "Infrastructure as Code" **Youll also monitor and provide support on applications, as well as diagnosing and resolving system and application issues*You will be creating and updating applications and systems documentation.Skills/Experience:*Proficient with using configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef*Proven track record working within the public cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP) including experience with migrating applications from on-premises to public cloud*In-depth experience with supporting and troubleshooting on Linux and Windows servers.*Must have experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, or CloudWatch,*Experience with source control tools including Git, or SVN.*Have strong knowledge of Cloud Architecture and system *CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab*You will need experience with orchestration tools (Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation)*Good knowledge of log management tools e.g. - Elastic Stack, Graylog or Splunk*Ideally have previous experience with RDBMS such as MySQL and/or Microsoft SQL*Experience with Docker or Kubernetes would be a bonus.If this is of interest please apply for my immediate attention!***Please note that this role has been designated as being inside IR35 and candidates will therefore be required to work via PAYE*** Required skills
