Job Description

Ecologist - South WalesPenguin is proud to be working with an established Ecology firm. My client works across many industries such as waste, major infrastructure, mineral extraction, forestry and rural to provide excellent services! They are currently seeking an experienced Ecologistto join their team.My client offers successful candidates exciting new projects and excellent career development withing with company!Requirements:

  • Ecology degree or relevant discipline.
  • Ideally, minimum of 3 years experience in ecology consultancy.
  • Member of CIEEM.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Hold at least one Natural England protected species licence.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and protocols.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for management and delivery of consultancy projects.
  • Carry out habitat and protected species surveys including, bats, newts, and dormice.
  • Advising clients of constraints and survey requirements.
  • Write reports and mitigate issue.
  • Liaise with, site managers, engineers, planners, and other associates.
