You will be working with 11-18 year old pupils. The school has a high proportion of Special Needs Educational (SEN) students.Therefore, you need patience and strong behaviour management qualities. Nevertheless, students are mature, polite and courteous as evidenced within the schools recent Estyn report.The ideal candidate will be an ambitious individual who wants pupils to learn and progress. Some students often struggle within a large classroom setting, and it would be your responsibility to keep students on task and work towards lesson objectives. Thiswould be achieved through working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and/or small groups. Teaching assistants are valuable in students learning, and it can be rewarding if you demonstrate high levels of commitment.Summary:
