About The Role Location - Cardiff & Swansea (travelling is essential in both areas) Salary - £28,000 - 30,000 (depending on experience) Permanent Full-time role: 37.5 hours in a week, 39 weeks in a year, Term time only Driver Essential We are delightedto offer an opportunity for a Wellbeing Lead to join Orbis Education and Care. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and innovative leader to support our schools in both Swansea and Cardiff, to work with pupils aged 5-19 who have social, emotional and mentalhealth needs and may have a formal diagnosis of Autism and learning difficulties, in addition to having possibly experienced trauma. A typical day will include: Working collaboratively with other staff within the school including teachers and the clinicalteam. Taking part in multi-disciplinary consultations within the schools. Interacting with professionals and agencies, and provide guidance to parents and carers for them to support ongoing development and wellbeing of their child. Assisting with assessingreferrals, completing assessment tools for new pupils, and maintaining appropriate comprehensive paperwork and record keeping. Requirements: Hold a level 4 or above Professional Diploma in Counselling Accredited/Registered with the BACP or UKCP or equivalentFull UK DriversLicence Relevant training and/or qualifications relating to Child Protection and Safeguarding of vulnerable pupils First Aid at Work Mental Health First Aider Maintain a consistently positive attitude towards the individuals we support at alltimes, fostering an atmosphere of respect, empathy, and encouragement.
