We are recruiting for Sales Consultants here in our Life Insurance team in Cardiff! We work on a shift basis 8.30am - 8pm Monday - Friday and 9-1 on Saturdays (1 in 3 rotation). What youll be doing:

• Youll be working in our Life Insurance Direct Sales team taking incoming calls from customers seeking life protection quotes.They come through to us via our policy review team or referrals from third party referrer (as part of their loan offering, thecustomer must have life insurance).
• Youll complete a full medical application via phone, covering health and lifestyle, hobbies, family history etc. This will generate a life insurance quote- the objective is to turn that into a sale.
• Youll provide customers with a first-class experience during every interaction.
• Offering support and feedback to other colleagues, contributing to a highly motivated, straightforward, and collaborative culture.
• For our most vulnerable customers, youll ensure you consider their circumstances and needs and take additional steps to support them through their interactions with Legal & General.

QualificationsWho were looking for:

• The skills below are really important to us. Rest be assured, we will show you the L&G way. Youll be in our office based induction for a couple of weeks so, youll have the tools you need before you start helping our customers and clients.

• Self-motivated and target driven people.
• Strong communication skills and passion to support customers, whatever their personal circumstances.
• Confident using a sales approach.
• Confident asking open questions in order to establish the customers needs.
• Confidence in using a desktop or laptop and experienced in using MS Office.
