Job Description

Adecco are pleased to be recruiting a Recruitment Assistant on behalf of our client.This is a temp role, which will last for approximately 12 week with the potential to be extended, based in Cardiff.Duties include, but will not be limited to:

  • Processing recruitment requests from receipt of appropriate documentation through to appointment of successful candidates including:
  • advertising
  • ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed
  • drafting and issuing of contracts
  • completing the pre-employment appointment
  • arrangement of attendance of the new starter at their Corporate Induction
  • setting up personal files, updating and maintaining accurate records
  • Acting as a central point of contact for the successful candidate prior to commencement in employment
  • Working collaboratively with recruiting managers as first point of contact:
  • providing guidance on the recruitment process.
  • assisting in the production of adverts, including ensuring the written content complies with current employment laws.
  • keeping managers informed of the progress of their candidates through the recruitment process.
  • informing managers if there is an issue with pre-employment checks in good time to enable them to undertake the relevant risk assessment.
  • signposting recruiting managers to appropriate services
  • Create, update and/or maintain records
  • To support managers with processing information in a timely manner, including clarifying any ambiguous or missing information, auditing and checking to ensure the relevant authorisation is in place
  • Skills and ExperienceEssential:
  • Experience of working with Microsoft Excel to an Intermediate / Advanced level,
  • Be able to present workforce information to a variety of audiences in a simple and meaningful way and the ability to deliver a comprehensive administrative support service
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Outlook Mail applications, together with experience that demonstrates.
  • Desirable:
  • Ideally have Trac Recruitment experience (or an Oracle based similar system), you will contribute to ensuring effective and efficient workforce data management
