Job Description

Permanent quality inspector / quality tester role, with a secure company who are offering an excellent salary (£26,350, paid overtime and a good pension). Why you should apply:-

    • As a quality inspector / quality tester, you will be responsible for checking, testing and inspecting raw materials, goods in process andfinished goods, including: -PREPARING / TESTING SAMPLES
  • Collecting samples
  • Cuting samples to size
  • Straightening samples using straightening machines
  • Marking samples using the Walter & Bai Scribing Machine
  • Performing testing including tensile, bending, length and petig slug.
    • PREPARING SAMPLES FOR MICROSTRUCTURAL ANALYSIS
  • Cutting, mounting, linishing, polishing then etching samples
  • Analysing and interpreting microstructure samples
    • STOCK CONTROL
  • Conducting finished material inspections
  • Performing customer load inspection for outgoing material
  • Re-classifying materials following product analysis
    • To apply for the quality inspector / quality tester, you will need the following
  • Quality and or material testing experience
  • The right attitude towards health & safety
  • Ability to follow strict processes and procedures
    • In return, the quality inspector / quality tester will receive a salary of £26,350, 22 shifts holiday, a pension and healthcare.
