Quality Control EngineerSouth Wales - Cardiff19520/617Up to £32,000Due to continual expansion following a substantial upturn in demand, this company, a specialist in metal fabrication and supplier to several companies in the UK are looking to add an experienced Quality Control Engineer to the team in South Wales. You willbe working as part of a small, closely knit engineering team and be responsible for ensuring the quality of products produced for a variety of clients and projects.Role & Responsibilities:-To monitor workshop progress against production schedules and report to the Engineering department, and customers, as required. -To monitor QA plans and ensure inspection points are followed -To ensure adherence within the workshop to quality documentation -To perform final inspection of goods prior to dispatch -Responsible for goods inward inspections -Perform ongoing weld inspection and sign off reports/ITP accordingly. -Perform stage inspection during manufacture, checking of marking, tack ups, with the codes and standards adopted. -Perform final inspection of the finished products, dimensionally within tolerances.Knowledge, Skills & Experience:-Minimum 5 years industry experience, including having previously performed a similar role. (welding/fabrication)-Have visual weld inspection qualifications, PCN or CSWIP. -Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Word in particular. -Have good communication skills and happy to work as part of a small, experienced team.
