Job Description

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer for our well known client in Cardiff (remote working)£40-45k & excellent benefitsYou will be responsible for ensuring all software, websites and systems meet or exceed the required quality standards. Youll work with the Quality Assurance and Test Manager to deliver test automation.Specific Role Duties

  • Work with the Quality Assurance and Test Manager to deliver an automated testing framework for the company
  • Define the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery
  • Maintain a comprehensive test suite covering the full range of business processes.
  • Define and perform acceptance, functional and integration tests.
  • Testing of software and system releases.
  • Work with the Quality Assurance and Test Manager to deliver continuous improvement of the Quality Assurance function.
  • First point of contact for defect confirmation and classification.
  • Develop complete and efficient test cases during sprints in order to verify acceptance criteria has been met.
  • Track test cases, stories and bugs through to resolution.
  • Create and manage test plans across a full range of projects.
  • Work within an agile methodology alongside the development teams to test sprint products, ensuring deliverables meet acceptance criteria and quality levels.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Work with third-party suppliers and partners to plan and define release dates and testing schedules.
  • Implement and maintain automated tests where possible.
  • Manual testing of software solutions.
  • Using industry tools to test software solutions across devices and operating systems.
  • Use industry tools to test software solution performance and report against metrics.
  • Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the role.
Ideal skill set includes:Knowledge of software testing approachesCertification in Software Testing advantageousKnowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Sitecore XP is highly desirableKnowledge of the software development lifecycleKnowledge of Selenium FrameworkIf this sounds like you please apply now for more details, thanks!
