They have strong relationships with more than 80 lenders and hold their credit policies, enabling small businessesto find appropriate lenders in minutes rather than days or weeks. They put small businesses in control of what finance they get and how. Their lenders include the biggest names in alternative finance!They have helped 100,000 small businesses understand their finance options by providing their technology to price comparison websites to fuel their business funding channels. Theyve integrated into some lenders, along with cloud accountancy packages andopen banking platforms, to help them deliver finance to SMEs as quickly as 10 minutes.Half fin, half tech they have closed their series A and theyve just got a £5m grant to expand what they do; starting an exciting new chapter offering our services directly into banks, lenders, brokers and industry bodies to transform the end-to-end lendingexperience for small businesses.The role:My client is looking for QA engineers with an aptitude for working withothersto help us build a modern disruptive platform. You will join a diverse group of bright and passionate engineers, in a self-organising and cross-functional team. Youll be helpingto define and participate in the end-to-end QA process, building and operating a bespoke cloud-based SaaS loan recommendation platform,and creatingconsumable APIs. As a QA Engineer, youll be expected to help promote a culture of quality amongst the entireteam.My clients full stack is Java, Angular, AWS Athena, and AWS Neptune. They deploy services on EKS via Terraform with New Relic for monitoring and alerting, but you wont be expected to know it all. They use Java, Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium, REST-assuredand Cypress for testing.You should apply if you: * Are unreasonably sceptical and always questioning* Have prior experience of testing REST APIs within an automation test framework and using tools like Postman* Can test web applications* Have excellent knowledge of Java, Cucumber/Gherkin, and Selenium* Expect to automate everything, building and using CI/CDpipelines, preferably with Bitbucket* Can write SQL queries and have prior experience with Postgres* Can review others codeand promote pair programmingItd be nice if you:* Have experience testing Angular applications using Cypress or similar* Understand web security* Have experience with Gatling, OWASP Zap and Docker/Kubernetes* Have used AWS, including EC2, Lambdas and S3* Have prior experience in a regulated environment, especially a fintech* Have an ISEB/ISTQB foundation certificateThis role is fully remote, however they do have offices in Shoreditch and central Cardiff, which will be used with absolute sensitivity to everyones needs and personal circumstances.Sound interesting Apply today to find out more!
