Job Description

Job Title: HGV TechnicianSalary: £31,000 - £33,000 DOE + OvertimeLocation: CardiffAlecto Recruitment are working together with our client to find an Experienced HGV Technician.This is a great opportunity to work for a family run business that has over 40 years experience in the Haulage / Recovery industry. The role will be workshop based Monday to Friday with overtime available on a Saturdayshift pattern

  • Mon - Fri 7am-4.30pm
This is a Full-Time permanent position in the Cardiff area.The responsibilities:
  • To carry out inspection, servicing, and repairs on HGV / LCV Vehicles
  • Fault Diagnostics while solving problems that may arise
  • HGV Pre MOT inspections maintaining DVSA standards
  • Ensuring all relevant paperwork is kept up to date
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Ideally NVQ level 3 in HGV (not essential)
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Experience within the HGV/ PSV Technician role
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to be a team player
  • Work safely and maintaining company practice
