About the companyCK Residential is a small property investment/lettings company based in Cardiff. We’ve been managing properties for over 7 years and due to expansion, we require someone to join our friendly team.Main RoleManagement of a portfolio of multi-let and single let properties in the Cardiff area.Key tasks- Keep adverts up to date- Book and attend viewings- Move tenants in/out and complete all contracts and paperwork- Make sure rents are paid on time- Liaise with company managers- Answer the company mobile phone and respond to all emails- Communicate with all tenants and landlords when required- Manage the maintenance and cleaning team- Collect meter readings- Conduct property inspections- Deal with any complaints and general office tasksQualifications requiredNo formal qualifications needed but a good level of numeracy and literacy is essential. Academic background will be considered during the selection process. On job training will be provided with the possibility of studying for formal qualifications in the sector.Successful candidate will ideally have:- A car and clean drivers’ licence- Ability to work on own initiative and alongside remote managers- Excellent telephone and people skills- Good attention to detail and accuracy skills- Computer literacy, e.g. Microsoft Word and Excel- The capability to organise and prioritise workload and meet deadlines- Ability to resolve problems- An enthusiasm towards sales with a determination to let rooms and properties quickly- A hardworking, honest, reliable and friendly personality- Ability to work from home with own computer, printer/scanner/copierWorking hours:Must be available 9am - 6pm Monday to Saturday to answer company mobile and emails. However, the work is part time as and when required during these times. On average between 10-15 hours per week. Some days will be very busy, other days there may be no work to do. You’d be expected to manage your working hours to fit the busiest times / days of the week.Wage:£570.00 pcm plus £50 bonus each time a room / property is filled.This is a self-employed position and you will work from home other than for external appointments such as viewings, move ins / outs, inspections and company meetings.
