Acorn is proud to be working in partnership with our industry leading, specialist construction contractor who are recruiting a Project Manager on a permanent basis. Our client is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Project Manager to join their already successful team. Project Manager duties and responsibilities:* Plan and implement projects * Maintain site to office communications * Ensuring site is compliant with the companys policies * Calculate and allocate project resources * Comply with all statutory and environmental requirements Experience:* Hold a current SMSTS, Gold CSCS Card Supervisor and have IOSH / NEBOSH qualifications as well as a full, clean, driving licence * A proven record of experience in site management of subcontract installation teams and with a good knowledge of window, door, and curtain walling installation * Experience as a Project Manager - within site development/construction * Strong leadership capabilities * A talent for negotiations and networking whilst working closely with the Quantity Surveyor in relation to reporting and record keeping * Ensuring with the team that the project is delivered on time and within budget Competencies:* Critical thinking and problem solving * Practical "hands on" approach * Exceptional communication skills * Strong work ethic * "No compromise" attitude to work safety * Proactive and versatile approach to work * Good commercial awareness What will i receive in returnAs the Project Manager, you will receive an attractive salary - level dependent on experience and qualifications, plus benefits such as company vehicle.Contract:* Permanent, working Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 4:30pm, and 7:30am to 1:30am on a Friday.
