Job Description

Technical Project Manager - Cardiff - Fintech - Hybrid - Start Up - £40-50k - Tackling Climate Change Do you want to be part of something bigger and help secure the future of the planet To be part of an incredible banking organization that is changing the way we tackle Climate Change through an innovative new banking platform.Yolk Recruitment is working with an innovative new Fintech organization in Cardiff who are looking for a Technical Project Manager to help build what will become of the UKs leading Fintechs.We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Project Manager to become part of something that will become a household name. They are building a bank from the ground up using a lean approach and becoming the most efficiently operated bankin history.As their first project manager, you will be pulling together all the people, timelines, requirements, and partners and coordinating them into a deliverable project plan. You will also be responsible for keeping on top of everyone so that they know what theyredoing and when they need to do it.You will need experience in delivering software projects and working with multiple external stakeholders. You will also need a good understanding of fintech.What should you have

  • 2+ years or more technical project management

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party suppliers to execute projects flawlessly.
  • Ensure projects can be delivered on time, within budget and scope.
  • Develop project objectives and scopes, involve relevant stakeholders, and ensure technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resources are available and allocated appropriately.
  • Create detailed project plans that deliver projects on time and budget and use them to track progress.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using suitable systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Report and escalate as required to management.
  • Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders and take responsibility for nudging people to deliver against timelines.
  • Conduct risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and third parties.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Develop & Apply suitable change control and configuration management processes.
  • Ensure a consistently high-quality, brand-aligned, user experience is delivered across our mobile application and website.
  • Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes & detailed UI designs
