Job Description

Project ManagerFully remote6 monthsOutside IR35Our public sector client based in Wales are looking for a Project Manager to plan, manage and complete the migration of an ERP system. You will be the direct interface with business users and programme stakeholders to present business cases and project updatesto the review board in accordance with standard project management methodologies.Project Manager Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the delivery of assigned projects - delivering the projects on time and in budget.
  • Identify and produce required documentation and reports to agreed quality standards to support programme and project delivery.
  • Influence key stakeholders and maintain partnerships internally and externally; enhancing the reputation of the ICT Development Programme by responding to and resolving issues raised.
  • Ensure appropriate governance is applied throughout the project.
  • Manage the relationships with external suppliers that are providing services into their projects.
  • Manage and own the resourcing and financial profiles for the projects.
  • To drive and support the procurement phase of the project.
Project Manager Requirements
  • Educate to Degree Level, or equivalent and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.
  • Experience in managing the migrating of an ERP system.
  • Formal accreditation in a structured Project Management methodology.
  • Previous IT Project Management experience.
  • Take ownership of problems and see them through to resolution.
  • Manage project teams and budgets.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • General interest in the practical application of new technologies and a desire to be innovative.
  • Experience managing in Waterfall and Agile delivery.
Desirable
  • Experience with Business World (formerly known as Agresso).
