Job Description

Project AssistantPosition Summary/Scope of WorkThe Project Assistants role is to support the project management team with the smooth administration of TACPs projects.Essential Job FunctionsWhat are the fundamental duties

  • To support TACPs project managers by:
  • Helping to set up systems for new projects
  • Helping to prepare site risk assessments on the Citation platform
  • Helping to prepare subconsultant agreements in line with TACP QEMS procedures
  • Helping to keep track of project ecological and environmental activities
  • Helping to set up GIS mapping using ArcGIS
  • Liaising with the admin team to ensure accurate reporting of project hours
Non-essential functions (duties and responsibilities)
  • Keeping track of TACP equipment
  • Suggesting articles suitable for posting on social media
Required Knowledge and SkillsKnowledge
  • A good understanding ecological projects
  • A good understanding of ArcGIS
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Work, Power point & Sharepoint
Skills
  • Patience, Persuasion, Tact
  • Writing & numeracy skills
  • Teaching & delegation skills
  • Communication skills
Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level
Experience
  • 2-3 years experience in an ecological or environmental role
  • 1-2 years experience of using ArcGIS mapping
  • Experience of working in a construction industry office an advantage
