Job Description

Opportunity for a process manager / process engineer to join a successful manufacturing business. As the process manager, you will analyse the production process and develop recommendations that will increase yield, productivity and improve final products quality and consistency. Detailed responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing existing production processes and developing recommendations, and proposing technological developments.
  • Carrying out and coordinating improvement projects, process capacity studies and implementing statistical controls.
  • Analysing more complex product specifications, parts, drawings and other engineering data to develop new production processes.
  • Liaising with shift managers to ensure effective running of the process.
  • Contributing to planning and decision-making so that the engineering strategy and performance are aligned.
  • Identifying and documenting good practices regarding manufacturing process improvements.
  • Working directly with managers in other disciplines to augment/and or modify production capacity and value.
  • Leading, directing, evaluating, and developing the team in TQM activity and undertaking six-monthly development and performance interviews.
    • To apply for the process manager, you will need the following:
  • Must have process engineering or continuous improvement experience, gained in manufacturing
  • Strong analytical ability and Microsoft Excel experience
  • Ideally have supervisory experience
