You will be responsible for the efficient process implementation and day-to-day operation of all assigned MOVPE reactors. What’s on Offer- Highly Competitive Pay - up to £50K p.a. (Dependent on Experience)- Pension & Health Cash Plan- Flexible working- Sickness Insurance and Death in Service Benefit- Exhilarating, yet challenging environment - no 2 days are the same!- Excellent career and personal development opportunities- Eligibility to participate in bonus and share plansKey Responsibilities of the Process Engineer:- Ensuring quality and specification are to highest standard- Responsibility for multiple MOCVD reactors and products as necessary- Work with Technology and Planning teams to ensure all customer requirements are met- Key part of the new product quotation process- Estimate run sequence required for given campaigns and review this vs the campaign plan- Generate customer CofCs as necessary and engage in the review of production material- Inspect all pertinent production and characterisation data- Technical support for issues arising in connection with the operation of the bays- Escalation assistance for production engineering team’s problem-solving activities out of hours- Prepare & present report on product & production related data (including for customers) as required- To monitor reactor performance, including SPC charts and identify solutions to production problems- Generate SOP, OCAPS, Work Instructions and participate in PFMEA- To participate in yield and process improvement programsSkills & Experience Required:- Graduate in a scientific or engineering discipline, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant semiconductor technology/growth experience- Previous experience in MOCVD growth experience, preferably GaN but InP and GaAs also considered- Planning and organising- Commercial awareness- Attention to detail- Problem solving and analysis- Lean manufacturingWhat’s NextIf you have the knowledge and passion we are looking for, APPLY NOW for this brilliant Process Engineer role and we will be in touch.
