Job Description

Principal Consultant - CardiffRef: DB1094Salary £45,000 to £50,000 Plus BenefitsOur client is looking for a Principal Consultant to join their award winning multi-disciplinary consultancy. The role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to join their specialist sustainability team, who work over a range of sectors, includingpublic, commercial, domestic, industrial and education. The role focuses on delivering energy and carbon management services for clients and helping them to meet their net zero targets and ambitions.To be considered for this Principal Consultant role you will have;

  • Relevant degree related to the sector
  • Minimum six years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent project management skills and client relationships
  • Excellent analytical and report writing skills
  • Computer Literacy
  • Experience of completing sustainability and net zero strategies
  • Experience of implementing projects and programmes to achieve significant carbon reduction
  • Ability to outline problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
  • Full UK driving license
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a diverse workload
  • Brilliant communication skills, written and verbal
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work to deadlines and to a budget
Working as a Principal Consultant you will;
  • Support with business development and possess market awareness
  • Build relationships with clients and stakeholders to provide best practice advice against national, local and sectoral requirements
  • Support junior members of the team
  • Support clients to make the change to a low carbon economy and achieve net zero targets
  • Complete carbon reduction strategies
  • Implement a range of energy and carbon reduction projects
  • Complete large-scale carbon reduction programmes
