Job Description

Power Apps Developer. £35K + Bonus + Benefits Package. Hybrid Role - ideally 3-4 days onsite. Permanent. Cardiff, South Wales. T6/MN/18266.The organisation will consider applicants at a graduate level, or with 1 years experience in Microsoft Power Apps development. Employee centric, rapidly expanding and phenomenally successful global organisation is seeking to secure a MS Power Apps Developer. The MS Power Apps Developer will develop Power Apps for global teams & global stakeholders. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. ROLE:

  • Develop Global Power Apps & Power Automate flows - improve existing processes, overseeing full project roadmap & life cycle.
  • Stakeholder engagement - scope & gather requirements for Power Apps - translate requirements into effective Power Apps to support the global business.
  • Keep abreast of any changes to the Power Automate & Power Apps platforms.
  • Work closely with Global Data & Analytics Manager - ensure that Power Apps built align with wider global data strategy principles.
  • Ensure Power Apps built have a cyber security first approach - ensure deployed Power Apps are compliant with cyber security strategy.
  • Collaborative approach - serving as a Power Platform educator - help build a citizen Power Apps developer network.
  • Collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Ambitious and a true self-starter.
TECHNICAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Considering applicants at graduate level, or with 1 years experience in Microsoft Power Apps.
  • MS Power Apps - benefits, limitations & best practice - good knowledge.
  • Power Automate - benefits, limitations & best practice - good knowledge.
  • SharePoint - utilising this as a data source for applications & flows - understanding of SharePoint.
  • Analytical skills - scoping reporting requirements - translate requirements to MS Power Apps.
  • Self-starter - take ownership of all facets of project delivery - drive successful implementation of any developed Power App flows & applications.
  • Eye for detail & design - ensuring that any GUI aligns with design specifications set out by graphics team.
  • Strong problem-solving ability - able to think laterally.
  • Ambitious individual - always seeking to develop your skill set & experience.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written & verbal English.
  • Collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
DESIRABLE:
  • Dynamics 365 - building applications & flows.
  • Python or another coding language - application development or process improvement.
  • Azure platform & SQL Managed Instance/Logic Apps.
  • Developing & designing SharePoint sites.
  • Understanding of - MS Dataverse, Power Virtual Agents & Power Apps Portals.
  • Knowledge of Git concepts - version control in GitHub or Azure DevOps.
