Job Description

Were looking for an engineer with engineering planning experience and an electrical or mechanical engineering background. Working days Monday to Friday.The company are a large manufacturer with a proven track record and a secure order book. The business invests in their people and operates a friendly culture. As the planning engineer, you will work closely with the engineering manager and the engineers to plan maintenance across a complicated manufacturing site. Your responsibilities will include: -

  • Setting up, managing and maintaining the SAPPM maintenance management tool
  • Generating weekly scheduled maintenance plans
  • Interacting with the engineers to review the existing preventative and planned maintenance work orders.
  • Issuing and reviewing all check sheets, update and maintain the feedback loops.
  • Generating complex site-wide detailed engineering plans for annual maintenance stoppages.
  • Providing engineering support on scheduled maintenance periods and holiday cover to maintain an efficient service.
To apply for the planning engineer position, you will need: -
  • A electrical or mechanical engineering background.
  • Engineering planning experience.
  • Knowledge of SAPPM or another modern CMMS
In return, the planning engineer will receive a salary of up to £40,000 - £45,500, plus a 5% bonus and generous benefits package. Working pattern is days Monday to Friday.
