Job Description

Are you passionate about the art of photography and eager to inspire the next generation of creative minds Tradewind Recruitment is on the lookout for a dynamic Photography Teaching Assistant to kick-start a fulfilling long-term role immediately.Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Classroom Support:
    • Assist the photography teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
    • Provide one-on-one support to students, fostering their creativity and technical skills.
  2. Equipment Management:
    • Oversee the organisation and maintenance of photography equipment.
    • Ensure a safe and efficient environment for practical sessions.
  3. Student Guidance:
    • Offer guidance on photography techniques, composition, and editing.
    • Provide constructive feedback to students, encouraging their artistic development.
  4. Assessment Assistance:
    • Support in the assessment of student work, helping to evaluate progress.
    • Collaborate with the teacher in preparing materials for examinations and projects.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a photography-related role or educational setting.
  • Passion for photography and a good understanding of technical aspects.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to relate to students.
  • Organisational skills to manage equipment and resources effectively.
