They are currently looking to recruit on a permanent basis a Pension Accountant to work in their office in Cardiff and a summary of the key areas of responsibility are outlined below:-Drafting Pension Scheme financial statements, annual reports and full end to end accounts (including sign off)Support Client Directors, Workplace Sales and Implementation at Client/Trustee implementation meetings to fully outline accounts reporting processes, ensuring Finance and Pension Stakeholders for their Clients have a clear understanding of timescales and detail to be that is provided by our Accounts services.Contribute to the design and development of new approaches and solutions in line with business and/or client needsEstablish processes for managing and administering quality controls and application of established processes to ensure quality of accounting and reconciliation processes are protected.Build strong working relationships across the business including the Client Relationship teams, Operational Heads of, Operational Team leaders, Scheme Owners and DC Communications teams to ensure a high quality service is provided to Clients within the appropriate risk, governance and compliance frameworks.Applicants for this unique and rewarding role are especially invited from fully PMI qualified candidates who also have a professional qualification in accountancy such as an ACA, CIMA or ACCA Part Qualified. A Certificate in Financial Planning and/or any operational qualifications would also be an advantage.
